Slotted Screens
Slotted screens also provide a fluid transition from screen to filter. As their origins date back to designs made of large-diameter longitudinal and lateral steel bars, they were and are used to separate coarse components from finer basic media.
This could be water or sand, for example. Today, however, slotted screens have established themselves in fields of application that require gap widths of less than 0.1 mm and consequently deliver very fine results. PACO uses slotted screens for sieve trays and slotted screen hollow bodies that cover a wide range of applications - from classifying and dewatering to filtering and drying.
