Reverse Dutch Twilled Weave

An important variant of the reverse weave is the twilled weave or reverse dutch twilled weave. Here too, the warp wires are comparatively thin - similar to the normal reverse weave - but the weft wire is interlaced in the twilled weave.

With this design, the warp wires are not deformed as much as with the normal reverse weave and are therefore not subject to as much mechanical stress. The advantage of this type of weave is that it is suitable for applications with high mechanical loads.
