Plain Dutch Weave Duplex

The suffix "DUPLEX" refers to the unique feature of this modified dutch weave: instead of just one thicker warp thread, two parallel-running thinner wires are used.

In contrast, the weft wires in the classic dutch weave are laid as close together as possible. The special geometry that results ensures that the wire cloths lies absolutely flat. This means that the plain dutch weave DUPLEX is predestined for use in filtration, e.g. as filter plates, pressure and vacuum filters. There are also decisive advantages in its use: very good flow properties with low pressure drop, considerably better contaminant retention capacity than the simple plain dutch weave and easy cleaning and regeneration. A TRIPLEX plain dutch weave with three warp threads and special properties is also available.
