Broad-Mesh Twilled Weave

To optimize the filtration capacity of the fabric, the weft wires of the broad-meshed twill weave have a slightly looser weave and are not tightly interlaced.

This means that the filter separation accuracy of a classic twilled dutch weave cannot be achieved. On the other hand, the degree of accuracy is still sufficient for high flow rates, low pressure loss and high regeneration efficiency.

This modified weave allows a significantly higher flow rate with low pressure loss and good regeneration efficiency. The wire mesh surface of the broad mesh twilled weave is smooth on both sides, which simplifies filter cleaning.
