5-Shaft Twilled Weave

In this type of weave, every fifth warp wire is woven into the weft. This produces elongated rectangular stitches.

The special feature of a five-shaft twilled weave is a particularly smooth surface (satin effect). The advantage of this in filtration is that filter cakes, for example, can be easily removed. At the same time, the open filter underside offers very good dewatering performance. This combines high flow rates with high mechanical quality.
